Awadhi Chicken curry | Chicken recipe / Chicken Curry | Indian Mom's Kitchen

This tasty Chicken dish can easily be prepared at home.
Ingredients:
750 gms Chicken
11/2 cup Curd
1/2 cup chopped Coriander leaves
1/2 cup chopped Pudina (Mint) leaves
1 cup fried Onions
15 Cashew nuts
1/2 cup hot Milk
1 tsp Fresh Cream
2 Bay leaves
2 Cinnamon sticks
3 Cardamoms
3 Cloves
2 tbsp Oil
2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
3 tsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Garam Masala
Method: Soak the Cashew nuts in hot milk for 10 minutes. Grind to paste. Add cream and keep aside. In another bowl, combinePudina, Coriander leaves, fried Onions and Curd and keep aside. In a pan, heat Oil, add Bay leaves, Cinnamon sticks, Cardamoms and Cloves. Add Ginger Garlic paste and saute till brown. Add the Chicken pieces and fry on high heat till brown. Put in Coriander powder, Turmeric, Chilli powder, Garam Masala and saute for 2 minutes. Add Curd mixture and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup water, salt to taste and cover and cook till Chicken is done. Finally, add Cashew cream mix and cook for a minute. Awadhi Chicken is ready. Enjoy it with Naan, Rotis, Parathas and Rice.
