Apricot Dessert (Khubani ka Mitha) | chefharpalsingh

Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Dry Apricot (Khubani), soaked over and deseeded – 2cups
Sugar – ¾ cup
Cinnamon – 1 inch stck
Rose syrup -
Cream (Malai) – ¼ cup

METHODS

1. Take a non-stick wok, add water and sugar and allow sugar to dissolve.
2. Once, sugar dissolves add cinnamon stick and apricots and cook it until 8-10 minutes or until apricots soften.
3. Remove from heat, and allow it to cool completely.
4. Add rose syrup and mix well.
5. Serve it into martini glass and garnish fresh cream/malai and assorted nuts.
