Appam with Chicken Stew CurryINGREDIENTS:Idli rice - 1cupUrad dal - ½ cupFenugreek seeds - ½ tspCoconut - ½ noWater - As requiredOil - As per tasteBay leaf - 2 nos.Whole garam masala - 1 tspPepper - 1 tspOnions - 1 no.Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspSalt - as per tasteTurmeric powder - ½ tspChicken (pieces) - 500 tspGreen chillies - 5 nos.Tomato pieces - 2 nos.Coconut paste - 1 cupCoriander powder - 1 tspCumin powder - ½ tspFennel powder - ½ tspDIRECTIONS:Take idli rice in a bowl, add urad dal, fenugreek seeds, coconut, water soak it for 4 hours and grind into a batter and ferment it for an overnight. Heat oil in a pan, add bay leaf, whole garam masala, pepper, chopped onions, ginger garlic paste,salt, turmeric powder saute it till light brown in color.Then add chicken pieces, chicken stock cook it for few minutes.Now, add green chillies, tomato pieces, coconut paste and add coriander powder, cumin powder, fennel powder. Let it cook till it comes to a nice boil and nice aroma comes out of it.Take appam batter, heat a appam pan, pour the batter closed the lid on cook it well.
