Combined with his crazy sarcastic humour and awesome mouth watering food, Breakfasts were never this fun!!!!!Fluffy PancakesWet Ingredients2tbsp/ 30 gms butter3/4 cup / 177 ml of milk1 egg1 1/2 tsp / 7ml of Vanilla essenceDry Ingredients1 cup/ 140 gms of flour 2 tbsp/ 30 gms of castor sugar1/2 tsp / 2.5 gms baking soda1/2 tsp / pinch of salt1 tsp/ 5 gms baking powderButter for cookingMethodTake milk in a bowl, add an egg and melted butter in it and whisk it thoroughly, then add vanilla essence or extract and whisk it to completely incorporate it. Take another bowl and flour, castor sugar, baking soda, salt and baking powder and mix all of it together. Now mix the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix them well till the time there are no lumps. Your pancake batter is ready.Now take a flat pan, on a low to medium heat. Add butter to the pan and when the butter starts to bubble, pour in the batter, keep it thick. Once you get large bubbles on the upper side , its time to flip the pancake and let the other side cook. Pancakes are done.Side of bacon10 -15 strips of American streaky baconMaple syrup ( for caramelisation)Method: Take a pan and put in medium flame and add the bacon directly without using any oil or butter. Once they are cooked take them out on an absorbent paper. Now take a clean pan and add some maple syrup to reduce in the pan, when the syrup starts bubbling, add the bacon into the pan. Saute it in the pan. Once the bacon is covered with the syrup take it out on a plate.Blueberry jamIngredients 1/2 cup of blueberries1/2 cup / 80 gms of sugar1/6 cup / 2 tsp of waterMethod: Add fresh blueberries in a saucepan, add sugar and water to the pan. Now keep the pan on a slightly high flame and let the mixture reach the temperature of 105 degrees. Once the mixture reaches this temperature, switch off the gas and check the mixture for soft threads. Take a drop of the mixture after its considerably cooled down between your fingers and try to make soft threads. If threads are formed, its done.Enjoy your American Breakfast!
