ALOO MUTTER SAMOSA | Vahchef - VahRehVah

The traditional Aloo Matar Samosa is large and its filling is mainly made up of potatoes and peas

Ingredients:
ghee or oil 100 ml
All purpose flour 300 Grams
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoons
Green chilli 3 Numbers
Green peas 1/4 Teaspoons
Salt 1 0
Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons
Coriander powder 1/2 0
Coriander (chopped) 1/4 Bunch
Oil for deep fry 300 ml
Chilli powder 1 Teaspoons
Garam masala 1 Pinch
Potato 200 Grams

Directions:

1.Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, chopped green chilli, green peas, salt, turmeric, coriander powder, chopped coriander, chilli powder, pinch of garam masala saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
2. To this add boiled and mashed potato mix it well and fry it for 2 minutes, then switch off the flame.

Make a dough for samosas:
1. Take a bowl add all purpose flour, ajwain, salt, oil or ghee and make it into a stiff dough by adding water and keep it a side for 10 minutes.
2. Divide the dough into medium-sized balls. Roll each ball into a flat circle. Make it as thin as possible Cut the circle into two semi-circles or half-moons using a knife.
3.Take a semi-circle and apply the water for all sides. Roll up one semi-circle of dough into a cone. Drop the filling into the cone. 4.The cone should be 3/4 full, leaving some dough at the end for you to seal the cone. Once filled seal the edges and fry them in a medium heat oil.
5.Serve hot.
