Aloo Gobhi Tahiri is a one pot dish made with rice, gobhi and potatoes, and is a wonderful recipe.ALOO GOBHI TAHIRIIngredients2 medium potatoes (aloo)½ medium cauliflower (gobhi), separated into florets1½ cups Basmati rice, soaked for 30 minutes 1 medium tomato, chopped4-5 fresh coriander sprigs, chopped2 tablespoons ghee1 teaspoon cumin seeds3-4 cloves½ inch cinnamon stick5-6 black peppercorns1 black cardamomSalt to taste1 teaspoon red chilli powder½ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon garam masala powderChopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishingMethod1. Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns, black cardamom and sauté till fragrant. 2. Add tomato and salt, mix, cover and cook till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy. Add potato cubes, cauliflower florets and drained rice and mix well.3. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix. Add 3 cups water, mix, cover and cook for 7-8 minutes or till rice is fully done. 4.
