Almond Oats & Honey Biscuts | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Super healthy baked biscuits made with rolled oats and honey loaded with almond flakes.

ALMOND OATS AND HONEY BISCUITS

Ingredients

½ cup almond flakes
2 cupsrolled oats
⅓ cup honey
½ cup desiccated coconut
1 cup roasted amaranth seeds
½ cup refined flour
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon soda-bi carbonate

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180º C.Line a baking traywith silicon sheet.
2. Combine oats, coconut, amaranth seeds, almond flakes and flour in a bowl. Mix well.
3. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add honey and some water and mix well till the butter melts. Switch off the heat and add soda-bi carbonate and mix well.
4. Add the butter-honey mixture to the oats mixture and mix well.
5. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into medium size cookies. Place the cookies on the silicon sheet. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
6. Remove from heat, cool and serve.

Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-12 minutes
