A treat for bappa to celebrate a dhamakedar Ganesh Chaturthi!ALMOND ANJEER MODAKIngredients1 cup almond flour¼ cup dried figs (anjeer) paste4-5 dried figs (anjeer), chopped¼ cup milk6-8 saffron strands½ cup powdered sugar2 tsps ghee + to grease¼ tsp green cardamom powderMethod1. Heat a nonstick pan. Add milk, saffron an once the milk comes to a boil, add powdered sugar and mix well till the sugar dissolves.2. Add almond flour and mix well. Add dried figs paste and mix. Cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes or till the mixture starts to leave the edges of the pan.3. Add ghee, green cardamom powder and mix well. Add dried figs and mix well.4. Transfer in a plate and allow to cool. Grease a modak mould with some ghee and fill in with the prepared mixture. Press well.5.
