Bored of the regular bhindi? Try this version instead, easy, yummy and quick!

AJWAINI BHINDI

Ingredients

½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
250 grams ladyfingers (bhindi), diagonally and thinly sliced
A pinch asafoetida
2 tbsps oil
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
½ tsp dried mango powder
1½ -2 tbsps gram flour

Method

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add carom seeds, asafoetida and turmeric powder and sauté for 30 seconds.
2. Add ladyfingers and salt and toss well. Add chilli powder and garam masala powder, toss and cook for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add dried mango powder and gram flour, toss and cook till ladyfingers are done and slightly crisp.
4. Serve hot.
