AILA FISH FRY | Vahchef - VahRehVah

Aila fish fry, deliciously made with spicy Indian marinade masala coating, and shallow fried until crisp and golden brown.

Ingredients used in AILA FISH FRY
• Aila fish - 5 number.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Coriander leaves - 1 springs.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon.
• Chili powder - 1 teaspoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 teaspoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon.
• Fennel seed powder - 1/4 teaspoon.
• Sambar powder - 1/4 teaspoon.
• Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon.
• Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons.
• Maida- all-purpose flour - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Onion - 1 number.

Method:
1. Firstly clean the fish, put the gashes and keep aside.
2. Now chop the curry leaves, Coriander leaves and transfer into a plate.
3. To that add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, fennel seed powder, sambar powder, pepper powder, lemon juice, maida, salt and mix well.
4. Now coat the fish pieces with masala mixture and let them rest for 15mins.
5. Heat oil in a pan, place the marinated fish pieces and cook both sides till they are tender.
6. Then take out the excess oil from the pan and again fry the fish pieces for another few minutes by adding onion rings and lemon juice.
7. Serve hot with rice or roti.
