Mutton Achar Gosht Recipe in English:

Ingredients for achar gosht masala:
1 tbsp Coriander seeds (crushed)
1 tsp Fennel seeds
1 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
1/2 Nigella seeds

Ingredients for achar gosht:
1 kg Mutton
1 cup Onion (chopped)
1 cup Tomatoes (chopped)
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 ½ tsp Red chili flakes
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp Turmeric
1 cup Yogurt
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Achar masala
1 tsp Garam masala
2 Cinnamon sticks
5-6 Cloves
5-6 Green chilies

Directions for achar gosht masala:
In a bowl add coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin powder, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and nigella seeds.
Mix it well and achar gosht masala is ready to use.

Directions for achar gosht:
In a pot boil water, add mutton, cinnamon sticks, cloves and let it cook until meat is tender and little stock left. Separate the stock and mutton in two bowls.
In a pan heat oil, add onion and cook until translucent. Then add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and cook it a bit.
Add red chili flakes, chili powder, salt, turmeric, garam masala and cook.
Then add mutton, stock, leave it for a while then add achar gosht masala and mix it well.
Add yogurt, cook it on medium low flame until it releases oil.
Mix lemon in achar gosht masala and stuff it in green chilies.
Add stuffed green chilies in dish and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Cooking time: 60 minutes
Serving: 3-4
