Aaron's China Guide E42 - 涮羊肉 - Mongolian style hotpot | Aaron Sawich

For this episode of Aaron's China Guide, I went to Inner Mongolia. Naturally, I wanted to try the local specialties. Shuan yang rou 涮羊肉 or Mongolian style hotpot is not to be missed. Not super spicy like Chongqing hot pot but still very delicious. Instead of oil, the food is cooked in boiling water. The food is cooked in a copper pot heated by coal from underneath. This style of hot pot was also easy to find in Beijing. Check it out if you are in the north of China.

P.S. When I filmed this I didn't realize my camera was on 480p setting. So this is my only non HD video.
