Aaron's China Guide E35 - 辣子鸡 - Chongqing chicken | Aaron Sawich

This week, Aaron's China Guide goes to eat some ultra spicy Chongqing chicken. This week I met Miko close to his University, which is Chongqing Jiao Tong University. We went to a nearby student restaurant and had a few Chinese food dishes. One of these was the Sichuan specialty, La zi ji 辣子鸡 This dish comes from the city of Geleshan 歌乐山, which is close to Chongqing. Its spicy, and full of flavor. The chicken pieces are quite juicy and delicious and there are pieces of ma hua 麻花 (fried dough) to give it a crunchy texture. Sichuan cuisine 四川菜 is highly recommended.
