Aaron's China Guide E03 - 月饼 - Moon cakes | Aaron Sawich

It is the Mid Autumn Festival 中秋节 in China now so I thought I should introduce you guys to moon cakes. The Mid Autumn Festival is also known as the moon cake festival. I went to the local supermarket in Chongqing and bought some to show you all. They are traditional moon cakes that are traditionally eaten around the time of the Mid Autumn Festival. A must-try if you have a sweet tooth. In Mandarin, Yue 月 means moon, and bing 饼 means cakes in this case. Chinese culture and traditions are interesting for me, so I want to share some information about them with you. I hope you all enjoy the snack food review video from Aaron's China Guide.
