Aaron's China Guide heads to a snack street in downtown Chongqing to show you how to order liang pi 凉皮, also called cold skin noodles. This food is from Shaanxi province. Cold noodles are great tasting snack food and very cheap too. It's also popular street food. These spicy noodles also have a sour flavor and they all come together to create a satisfying and delicious dish. The Chinese word Liang 凉 means cold, and pi 皮 means skin so this translates to cold skin noodles.
