6KG Curry Hainanese Rice Challenge! BEST Hainanese Curry Rice in Singapore?! Singapore Street Food

In this video, we swing by Loo's Hainanese Curry Rice, one of the most requested Hainanese Curry Rice to do a 6KG curry rice challenge!

For those that may or may not know, Hainanese Curry Rice is a uniquely Singaporean dish inspired by British, Hainanese and Peranakan settlers in Singapore. A standard serving would include a fried egg, pork chops, braised pork belly and braised cabbage piled on white rice before being smothered by a thick, fragrant curry. Different restaurants would have their own take on the curry and toppings provided, with the curry usually being thick but varying in taste.

I got around 12 portions of rice, a pile of braised cabbage, 1 fried eggs (regret not getting more), braised pork belly, pork chops, curried chicken assam squid and some batang fish. Total cost for my plate is $88 bucks. Big thank you to the folks over at Loo's for allowing me to film this video during their peak hours!
