I was introduced to this dish many years ago by a good friend. It’s to be found in a small eatery called Manohar Dhaba in Old Delhi, between the Old Lajpat Rai Market and Moti Cinema on Diwan Hall Road. The eatery was started in Lahore in 1924, much before the partition, and when it moved to Delhi, the family opened this little food stall in 1949.
