Bread Egg Patties

Ingredient Quantity
Bread Slice 4 no.
Boiled Egg 4 no.
Egg 1 no.
Ginger Chopped 1 tsp
Garlic chopped 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped 2 no.
Onion chopped 1 no.
Green capsicum chopped ¼ no.
Salt to taste
Red chilli chopped ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Coriander chopped 2 tbsp
Spring onion chopped 1 tbsp
Oil for cooking

Method:
1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan; add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Mix well and sauté for 30 sec.
2. Add chopped onion, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
3. Add green capsicum chopped, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
4. Grate the boiled egg and add to the pan, mix well and sauté for another 1 min.
5. Remove in a bowl, add coriander chopped, spring onion chopped, mix well and Keep it aside.
6. Break the egg in a bowl and whisk well.
7. Take the bread slices and cut the sides, Dip bread slice in water to moisten it. Press it with both hands to remove the excess water from the slice.
8. Put the egg mixture in one slice and cover it with other slice, press and make a tikki shape.
9. Heat 2-3 tbsp of oil in a pan, take a tikki dip it in egg and shallow fry till golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
10. Remove in serving plate and serve hot.
