Tandoori Chai Recipe in English
Ingredients:
3 cups Milk
1 cup Water
4-5 tsp Tea powder
4-5 tsp Brown sugar
¼ tsp Fennel seeds
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp Ginger
1 Cinnamon stick

Direction:
- Heat a clay pot on stove for 20-25 minutes, meanwhile on another stove add milk and water in a pan. Bring it to boil then add cardamom.
- Now add ginger, cinnamon, fennel seeds, brown sugar, tea powder and salt.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes and stir continuously.
- Stain the tea in a pot then pour it in hot clay pot. (Extremely Hot)
- Then pour Tea from clap pot to serving cups and enjoy.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serving: 3-4

Herbal Tea (for cough and cold) Recipe:
3 cups Water
4 Cloves
2 Cinnamon Sticks
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 tbsp Ginger
1 Bay leaf
1 tbsp Orange or Lemon zest
4-5 Basil Leaves
4-5 Black pepper
Honey to taste
2 Green cardamoms
Directions:
- In a pan add water and bring it to boil.
- Add all the spices and let it simmer for 6-8 minutes on medium flame.
- Strain the tea and add honey.
- Drink ¼ cup at a time and twice a day.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 8 minutes
Serving: 3-4


Ingredients for kashmiri chai:
3 tbsp Kashmiri tea leaves
1/4 tsp Baking soda
4 cups Water
5-6 Green cardamom
2 tbsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
2 ½ cup Milk
1 ½ cup Kehwa
Pistachio chopped (for garnish)
Almonds chopped (for garnish)
Ingredients for Masala tea:
5-7 Cardamoms
4-5 Cloves
2 Star anise
5-7 Peppercorns
2 tbsp Tea powder
1 inch piece Ginger
1/2 stick Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
1 tsp Fennel seeds
2 cups Milk
2 cup Water
2 tbsp Sugar
Directions for Kashmiri tea:
Add water in a saucepan, add Kashmiri tea leaves, baking soda and bring it to boil.
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until kehwa reduce to half of its quantity.
Turn off the flame and add chilled water then beat it for 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn on the flame and add green cardamom and beat for 10 to 15 minutes more. Strain the kehwa.
In a saucepan add milk, let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Then add salt, sugar, kehwa and bring it to boil.
Beat it well. Garnish with pistachio, almonds and serve hot.
Directions for masala tea:
In a pan boil water, add cardamom, cloves, star anise, peppercorn, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, fennel seeds and let it boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
Then add tea powder and boil it again.
Add milk and sugar in last. Cook until milk boils. Strain and serve.

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
