Set aside.With a hand mixer or stand mixer beat butter and brown sugar until they become fluffy.Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.Add the dry ingredients, half at a time and mix until it forms a dough.Fold in grated apples.Scoop dough onto a non-stick baking sheet.Place a caramel in the centre of each cookie.Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.Allow cookies to cool for at least 5 minutes before eating as caramel will be very hot.Enjoy!White Chocolate Cranberry Pecan Cookies 1½ cups all-purpose flour½ tsp baking powder½ tsp baking soda¼ tsp salt½ cup butter½ cup brown sugar½ cup white sugar1 egg1 tsp vanilla extract½ cup white chocolate chips½ cup cranberries½ cup chopped pecansPreheat oven to 350°F.In a large bowl whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until they are well combined. Set aside.With a hand mixer or stand mixer beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until they become fluffy.Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.Add the dry ingredients, half at a time and mix until it forms a dough.Fold in white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.Scoop dough onto a non-stick baking sheet.Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.Enjoy!Cinnamon Roll CookiesFor the cookies:2 cups flour½ tsp baking soda½ tsp baking powder¼ tsp salt¾ cup butter¾ cup sugar1 egg1 tsp vanillaFor the cinnamon filling:4 tbsp butter½ cup brown sugar1 tsp cinnamonFor the glaze:¾ cup powdered sugar1 tbsp milkIn a large bowl whisk flour, baking soda and salt until it’s well combined. Set aside.With a hand mixer or stand mixer beat butter and sugar until they become fluffy.Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.Add the dry ingredients, half at a time and mix until it forms a dough.Wrap dough in plastic and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour.Once dough is chilled, roll it out until it’s a ¼ inch thick.In a small bowl whisk melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.Spread cinnamon mixture over dough, leaving a 1 inch border around the edges.Carefully roll dough until you create a log shape.Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for an additional 30 minutes.Preheat oven to 350°F.Once dough is chilled use a serrated knife to slice dough into ½ inch cookies.Place cookies on a non-stick baking sheet.Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.In the meantime, whisk powdered sugar and milk together until they create a glaze.Transfer glaze to a small zipper bag and cut off the tip.Allow cookies to cool completely before drizzling with glaze.Allow glaze to set for 1 hour before packaging cookiesEnjoy!*SOME links provided above are affiliate links The Domestic Geek is Hosted by Sara Lynn Cauchon
