Hello. Todays home meal menu is jeyuk bokkeum ssambap meal.
Ssambap is a meal consisting of rice, ssam-jang dipping sauce and a dish made into a wrap in a leafy green.
Jeyuk-bokkeum is the most common type of dish in ssambap.
I was going to just make jeyuk-bokkem but I felt it needed more. So, I also made gang-doenjang.
Kang-doenjang is a fancier version of ssamjang.

Its awesome with a pumpkin leaf topped with rice and gang-doenjang.
Seems like nothing, but effing delicious!!!! What should I make for autumn?

* : Jeyuk-bokkeum(stir-fried spicy pork)
500g, , , () 1
: 2, 2.5, 3, 2.5, 1,
: 1/2, 2, 1/2, 1/2

500g Sliced pork, salt and pepper to taste, 1Tbs cooking wine
1/2 onion, 2 green onion, 1/2 Korean zucchini, 1/2 carrot
Sauce: 2Tbs gochujang, 2.5Tbs red pepper powder, 3Tbs soy sauce
2.5Tbs corn syrup, 1Tbs chopped garlic, sesame seeds

1. Marinate the pork with salt, pepper and cooking wine.

2. In a bowl, add and mix all of the sauce ingredients.

You can adjust the amount of corn syrup to taste.

3. Slice the veggies into bite sizes.

4. Coat the pan with oil, fry the (1)marinated pork.

5. When pork starts to cook, add and stir-fry veggies.

6. Add sauce, keep frying and serve!

Adjust the amount of sauce to the amount of veggies.

There was 1Tbs sauce left because I had little veggies.


* : Gang-doenjang
100ml, 2~3, 1, 1/2
4, 1/2, 1, 1, 1/3, 1/2~1/3

100ml anchovy broth, 2~3Tbs doenjang(Korean soybean paste), 1Tbs chopped garlic, 1/2 red pepper powder
4 mushroom, 1/2 onion, 1 big pepper, 1 green onion, 1/3 Korean green zucchini, 1/2~1/3 tofu

1. Finely chop the veggies.

2. Boil the anchovy broth into ttukbaegi(earthen pot) and add doenjang.

3. Add (1)chopped veggies and simmer.

4. Press the tofu with the flat side of the knife and mix into the (3)pot.

I added 1tsp red pepper powder for a bit of heat!
I kept it on low simmer while I made other dishes..
