195: 5 Steps to Meal Planning on a Budget for Teens and Young Adults

Get all the links and resources I mentioned here: https://kidscookrealfood.com/meal-planning-on-a-budget/

Were coming up on EIGHT years teaching kids to cook online, which feels crazy. Its like it was just yesterday that we were filming the courses and nervous to see if anyone would be interested.

Now with almost 20,000 families served to date, we know were making an impact in the world and ready for more!

In all that time, parents ask me regularly about two concepts that arent included in our cooking classes:

* how to help kids meal plan
* how to help kids grocery shop

These are higher level, executive functioning skills that just arent in the scope of our original eCourse, but someday I hope to make a teen/young adult cooking class series that will definitely include in-depth resources on both.

For now, I am collaborating with two of my most frugal friends who are GREAT cooks to compile 5 steps to meal planning on a budget, merging both requests of our families of teens.

May I introduce you to Tiffany of Dont Waste the Crumbs and Steph of Cheapskate Cook, who never cease to amaze me in their ability to save money while also generously hosting friends and sharing their knowledge with others online.
