15. Pepper rasam for cold cough fever | കുരുമുളക് രസം | ജലദോഷം ചുമ പനി പമ്പ കടക്കും | Aswathi's Healthy Cooking

In this video, I will show you how to make a kurumulaku rasam or pepper rasam.

This rasam ( Indian soup) recipe contains pepper and tomatoes and is usually consumed hot as a home remedy for cold, cough and fever. It is also often served along with the second course in a traditional Kerala sadya (feast)

Ingredients:
1 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Green coriander seeds
2 tbsp Tamarind juice
Coriander leaves
A pinch of Cumin seeds
3/4th of a tomato de-seeded and de-skinned and added to hot water
Mustard seeds
1 Dried red chilli
Water
1 tbsp Olive oil
Pinch of turmeric powder
1 crushed small garlic

These are the measurements for making one cup of rasam.
