Tart Lemon Chutney


1. Place all ingredients except nuts and gin in a large, heavy saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring often.

3. Do not boil, only simmer.

4. Remove from heat and stir in toasted nuts and gin.

5. Immediately pour into hot sterilized one-cup canning jars and seal with prepared lids.
