Jolene'S Mongolian Beef


1. Mix together soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, dry sherry, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, chile paste with garlic, salt and pepper in a small bowl and set aside.

2. Heat peanut oil in a large skillet on medium heat and add the garlic and ginger and sauté about two minutes.

3. Add the cut red peppers to the pan and sauté until crisp tender, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the green onions and sauté about 2 minutes.

5. Add the cooked steak and the soy sauce mixture and mix to combine.

6. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes so flavors can blend.

7. Serve over cooked rice or cooked rice noodles, added hot sauce to taste! Enjoy!
